What Causes A Groin Lump That Bleeds Only During Menstruation?
Hi there I have a lump in my groin that has been there for over a year and it only bleeds during menstruation. I have stage 5 endometriosis and I am concerned this could be external endo. It s is sore and bleeds on contact with underwear no pus and has never responded to anti biotic creams tablets etc please help as I am fed up with it now.
Hello and welcome to HCM, A lump that bleeds during menstruation and a history of endometriosis indicates that the lump in the groin is due to endometriosis. Endometriosis is known to occur at many unusual sites. Excision of the groin lump is required followed by histopathological examination for confirmation. Consult your gynecologist and surgeon for further work up. In the meanwhile, treatment of endometriosis will be helpful in controlling the bleeding from endometriotic site.
