I have a hard lump or not under my skin on the back of my neck maybe two or three inches away from my ear maybe a inch from my hairline and when I press on it it triggers something in my ear like iam in the beginning stage of a ear infection what could that be

As you are feeling uneasiness in the ear too, it must be presence of ear infection. You can start with antibiotics such as Cefixime 200 mg (Topcef). You can take this medicine twice a day for 5 days.
If the swelling and discomfort in ear do not resolve in 5 days, you should see an ENT specialist for the clinical examination of the ear and further investigations.
