What Causes A Hard Lump On Penis?

i have had a hard lump on the shaft of my peins for some years now when it first appeared i was able to pop it like a pimple but now it is a lump under the skin which over time the skin dies and i can scratch it off but the lump remains it is embarrassing to have this lump sticking out not a big lump but noticeable

According to your main complain history, signs and symptoms, the hard mass on the shaft of penis seems to be serious in terms of treatment strategy. However, I think it better to remove it. Your operation is a minor surgery and can be conducted with a local or regional anesthesia.
There is nothing to worry about it seriously. My recommendation is to consult with a surgeon (urologist) to remove the mass completely and examine the mass in pathology unit to rule out a very rare malignant tumor in your case.
