What Causes A Hard Lump On The Right Nipple Of Children?

Hi there, Was bathing my 8 month old daughter and noticed a pea sized hard lump close to her right nipple ??? ...I touched it a few times when I was rubbing on her lotion , It didn t seem to bother her at all. The area is clear. No redness .Just a hard palpable lump. I didn t feel it long enough to know if it moves. I m just worried as to what this could be ??

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The hard pea sized lump in your baby could be normal breast tissue.
In order to assess the lump , you need to consult your pediatrician for clinical assessment.
In case the lump is abnormal and pathological, excision of the lump will be required.
A clinical assessment is mandatory to know whether the lump is physiological or pathological.

Thanks and take care
