What Causes A Hard Lump On The Top Of The Head?

hi Doctor.I have a painless ,immovable hard lump on the top of my head , it is not painful but it feels weird when i touch my head.. i was not having this it appear suddenly on my head .....what it could be, should i consult a specialist for the treatment.
