What Causes A Hard Painful Lump On The Inner Labia?

I was ladyscaping and found a small hard lump on my inner labia. Theres only one, it doesn t look gross or bumpy or anything like that. I thought maybe an ingrown hair, but it s pretty smooth there, and its under the surface of the skin. It only hurts if you squeeze a little, but doesn t feel like a pimple. It s quite hard. Is it possibly a cyst?

on the inner side of labia minora there is a gland called bartholin gland and cysts are common in this gland which are asymptomatic and require no treatment.when it becomes infected and painful only needs treatment.inner labia is called labia minora.in my view you need to maintain proper personal hygiene and need not worry about the lump as long as it is not troubling you.
