What Causes A Hole On The Roof Of Mouth?

hi i was wondering whether you can help me i have a little hole at the top of my mouth near the tonsill area. i have been to the doctors yesterday and they have given me some penisillin to help with the pain but the hole tonight has got bigger, i know its an awkward question and hard to understand but was wondering if you can help

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a hole at the top of the mouth near tonsil seems to be probably an ulcer that occurs generally inside the mouth and it can be a crater like depression over the mucosa of the palate rather than being a through and through hole..
As far as Penicillin is concerned it will not relieve pain as it is an antibiotic that can fight bacterial infection but not painkiller..
So inorder to relieve you need to take Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Diclofenac etc..
You should do warm saline gargles and also can gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Avoid hard foods..
Drink plenty of water and take soft diet..
In case of no improvement consult an Oral Physician or an ENT expert..
