What Causes A Huge Lump And Dark Discolouration On Right Shin After Injury?

Hi I hurt my right shin this past weekend. It started off as a small Bruise and then a couple hours later there was a huge lump and really dark black and blue. Since then it has progressed to over 75 present of my lower leg. And it is still very painful. Should I go to the hospital?

As your physician i will advise you to seek emergency assessment and treatment of your condition as soon as possible. The doctor will assess the bruise because if pain and size are increasing it should not be taken lightly.
