I have a large raised lump near the top of my skull. I had a head injury as a child (cut head open on side of coffee table) and had always assumed the lump was scar tissue. In recent months the lump has begun to feel larger and has begun to itch. My doctor has said it is likely to be a cyst that is growing and can be removed surgically. I just want to find out if there is anything else it might possibly be.
