What Causes A Knot Around An Incision After A Hip Replacement Surgery?

after my incision of having a hip replacement I had a lot of bruseing or blood under my skin and it is gone but now I have a knot there,,,it is not sore but it is hard and not discolored,,,could this be some type of a blood clot,,i am going back to my dr I am just courious for now

No, this is probably just fibrosis or granuloma and this is common in this area especially after surgery. It should not be removed unless there is growing and pain.
