What Causes A Large Lump Inside The Elbows While Having Arthritis And Fibromyalgia?

I have Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. My inner elbows are always very sore to touch. The last 3 days I have a ping pong ball size lump on the inside on one elbow. Is it related or is this something I should check further. The lump it self is not sore or red.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of large lump inside the elbows while having arthritis and fibromyalgia . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hair follicle infection, allergic reactions, lymphadenopathy , infection or venous insufficiency. Lipoma can also be one of the reasons . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses to elbow crease and take antihistamine like zyrtec and keep it elevated while sleeping . Wear loose clothes. Avoid touching or pricking and avoid exposure to sunlight. You should consult dermatologist for proper examination.
