General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If I were your treating Doctor for this case, I would come up with the possibility of fungal skin infection although proper diagnosis could be made only after physical examination of the lesion.

I suggest you go to your primary health care physician for proper investigation and early diagnosis.

Such an infection needs to be treated with antifungals both oral and topical.

I have seen a drastic improvement with the use of Terbinafine in my patients. Please discuss this treatment option with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Maninder, General & Family Physician
