What Causes A Lipoma In The Shin Area?

So I ve been to the doctor about a lipoma located to the left of my shin on my right leg. It has grown which I know to be normal for lipomas. But now there is another bump that is lower down my leg that is tender to the touch, no bruising or discoloration.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having Lipoma that is Benign tumour and now you have developed another lesion below it...

This second lesion is painful so examination of that should be done...
It might be simple boil like superficial bacterial skin infection...
For that if size big incision and drainage done and antibiotic prescribed

But if this lesion doesn't look bacterial infection or abscess than FNAC done to rule out nature of lesion (as painful swelling might be neuroma like nerve tumour)

If your Lipoma increasing in size and if needed it is better to surgically excised it

Consult surgeon for examination and further work up accordingly

Take care
