What Causes A Lump Behind The Ear With Foul Discharge?

I ve had a lump behind my ear for about a month now and this is the second time it s popped up. At first it was tender but now it s started to leak and the liquid does smell. I have pierced/gauged ears. Could this be from not cleaning on a regular basis?

It might be infection most probably bacterial. At this point you should start with antibiotics after consulting with an ENT(Ear, nose and throat) doctor.
