General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The lump in the back of the neck that is pea size very likely is nothing to worry especially if it is smooth surface and mobile. It is a good approach the doctor has taken by asking to have a follow up visit in a month so to check if the lump is getting bigger or not. If the lump is not getting bigger then there is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
