Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes A Lump Between The Little And Ring Finger After Injury?
I punched through a wooden door around 6 months ago. I had severe swelling and bruising of the hand that has went away, but it s still painful to put pressure on. (To use the hand to help get balance to get up, not to simply touch.) And the strength I had in that hand has dramatically decreased. There s a lump that sits above my pinky and ring finger knuckle, but when I make a fist the lump moves between my knuckles and completely removes the little dip that s suppose to be there. What in the world have I done to my poor hand?
It could be a local inflammation. As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
