What Causes A Lump Despite Radiation Treatment For DCIS?
I had DCIS in April, and had the surgery, radiation treatment. OK, everything s OK. But on Friday I noticed where the scar is on the right breast by the nipple, it feels as if there s a lump there, like water retention or something. I m worried of course. I was just going to make an appt with my doctor and I looked up the spelling of DCIS when I say you re on line. What do you think it is?

An ultrasound scan is required for further assessment.
