What Causes A Lump In Solar Plexus?

I have had a ball like thing in my solar plexus for the past 15 years. It is Avery uncomfortable feeling. Have done all the possible home remedies to cure it, but nothing helps. It is the size of a football. I have stopped having milk for the past 3 years. Still the persists. What can be wrong? Can you please help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

A lump in the area of solar plexus can be due to various causes, some of which are more concerning while others are less concerning. If it is easily mobile and reducible by manual pressure, then usually it is not worrisome. If the lump is very hard, has significant pain, feeling of being stuck in place or grows in size overtime, then an appointment with a physician is advised for a proper diagnosis with imaging and/or biopsy, if indicated and treatment accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
