Hi, i recently discovered a lump inside of my vagina. its not very deep becacuse i am able to reach it. I would say that it is circular shaped and maybe the size of a cherry maybe a little bigger, although i am not 100% sure because i cannot see it . It is hard and not painful to touch. Its position is straight inside me and a little bit down and slightly toward my right side. My friend who is a nurse examined me and said that it isnt my cervix and that it feels like a hard lump to her. I am also experiening a brownish discharge.. although it is sometimes clear, but i always have some type of discharge, which isnt normal for me. Other symptoms i am experiencing are dizzy spells, tailbone pain, and irritability, and tiredness. Please help
Hello,I understand your concern, lump inside the vagina can most probably be a BARTHOLINS CYST.This cyst if it becomes infected can lead to an abscess..you need to see your practioner who can confirm the same,we usually recommend sitz bath and course of antibiotic for the same and if it is a abscess we usually drain it and if you are postmenopausal we do take a biopsy of the mass as well, wishing you a speedy recovery.
