What Causes A Lump Just Above Left Breast?
when lifting my 3yr old girl last nite i felt a lump just above her left breast,it really worried me+on further examination felt more of a bone. she has been unwell with high temps,fatigue+not eating. the gp did not seem to alarmed but said has swollen glands,d raw throat although did not give me any antibiotics. can u explain wot this could be please?

thanks a lot for your question. with given facts its important to know where exactly did you feel the lump...is it above collar bone or just at the start of armpit...on leftside?
also as you have said about her fever etc...kindly enlighten if shd has following features
1. weight loss
2. swelling anywhere else.
if swelling us nearer to arm pit ..its likely to be glandular but as you are describing it as bone then its better to be felt by doctor. also if gland then she would require antibiotics and may be fnac.
