What Causes A Lump On Right Side Of The Groin?

i have lump on the right side of my groin pussing on and off the last four days. It happened after a swimming session. Do you think I bacterial infection? Should get culture done before taking any prescription antibiotic to make sure I really need it?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Lump in the groin appearing on and off could be due to 'ingunial hernia'.
It is not a bacterial infection and hence there is no need to do a culture and treat it with antibiotics.
You need to be examined clinically by a Surgeon and then plan for its repair by means of surgery called 'herniorrhaphy/hernioplasty/herniotomy'.
