What Causes A Lump On The Left Side Of The Adam S Apple?
I have a lump to the left of my Adams apple, I have looked online and it sounds like it could be my thyroid gland it is not painful just uncomfortable as even my Adams apple doesn t stick out. It has been there for 3 days and appeared out of nowhere.I don t drink alcohol regularly, don t smoke other then occasionally for shisha.
Hii , Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
a lump over or side of your Adams apple can be a swollen gland which may be caused by an infection and it is not of a major concern however it may also be caused by variety of medical conditions including Thyroglossal cyst/ dermoid cyst/ lipoma ect and it needs thorough medical check up and investigations to spot a confirm diagnosis
if your lump is hard and not movable , and doesn't go away with heat application and warm saline gargles within 5-7 days i would strongly suggest you to see Your GP , he will examine this lump and will probably go for an ultrasound scan or CT scan of the neck to rule out any underlying medical condition
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
