What Causes A Lump On The Neck After Chemotherapy?
Hi My father just received a round of chemo this week and got his neulasta shot yesterday. He noticed a small lump in his neck today that wasn t there on Wednesday when his doctor did his checkup. Do you think the lump could be a result of a lymph node that is being affected from the shot? He will be seeing the doctor tomorrow for them to take a look at it but I thought I d ask online too Thanks

This small lump noticed in his neck is most likely due to the neulasta shot he received, since that injection increases the production of blood counts and the lymph nodes become active, this is one of the possible reasons, however please bring this to the notice of your treating oncologist, to rule out other unlikely causes.
