Hello,

Initial knot on thigh followed by 2 purple bruises of large size indicates issue with the underlying coagulation cascade as that of hyper thrombosis or lack of anti thrombotic events. Platelets play a very major and pivotal role in your case. Kindly get following reports done and consult your doctor with the reports:
- Complete hemogram
- Coagulation profile
- Platelet counts
- aPTT

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
