What Causes A Lump Under The Scrotum?
Hello. I have a soft lump in what I ve come to learn is my perineal area. Below my scrotum but above my anus. It does sit between my butt cheeks, but is not protruding from my anus. It appeared just yesterday and I initially thought it was the reoccurrence of hemmeroids I had yrs ago. but it is not protruding from my anus. It does not hurt, but it wasn t there 2 days ago.

It could be a perianal abscess. Consult a general surgeon and evaluated. An ultrasound scan is required to make a diagnosis. Surgical drainage will be the treatment of choice.
