hi. Im andrew. i was lying infront of my 2 years old son, when he struck his palm on my right ear. it did not hit me too hard but i started feeling a constant tone in my ear since then. for me amazing thing is that this tone is not un my right ear, rather in the left ear. it is a constant tone, i can hear it all the time. kindly advice.
The stiking of the palm may have caused sudden pressure changes inside your ear leading to tinnitus(constant ringing tone). Kindly visit a ent doctor so that if there is any perforation of the ear drum , it can be managed. Usually traumatic perforation of ear drum heals by itself in 3 months.
Regards, Dr.Riyanka
