Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a doctor s appt., but not until Sept. I have a nodular growth on my thyroid gland diagnosed at 16. I have kept track of it for all these years. My daughter just recently went through a thyroid cancer treatment where upon they removed her thyroid gland. This encouraged me to get another ultra sound of my thyroid gland. My endocrinologist is not concerned. I told him of my choking and said that it seems like the growth is moving inward. I made an appt with an ENT. It is not until September 7th. No one seems to be too concerned about the fact that I feel like there is something in my throat that is choking me.

What Causes A Nodular Growth Inside The Throat?
Hello, Your symptoms seem to be related to the presence of the nodule in the thyroids. I suggest to check the thyroid hormone level and do an ultrasound of the thyroid to check the size of the nodule. The treatment depends on the results of the examinations. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
