Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have what looks like a pimple on my ballsack. I ve lanced and drained it twice. The first time just pus came out the second time a whitehead popped out followed by blood (though I think I lanced too deep) It is still there and can be painful when I walk or if I scoot in a sitting position but unless touched is painless. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
If there was pus first time then this is obviously of inflammatry origin and it may indicate some STds or epididimitis. It would be good to do std tests first to rule this out. if this is negative you need to do testicle scintigraphy or doppler ultrasound to see if there is residual tumor left and if necessary it can be biopsied. I dont think this is related to something more serious and probably this is just abscess or cyst but if there is pain it should be surgically managed as a permanent solution. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
