What Causes A Painful Bump Under The Brow Bone?

i have a very small (about 1cm) but very hard rectangle like bump under my skin on my browbone. It s not painful but it is if pressure is applied. it started off like a normal spot, but nothing happened whenever i tried to pop it. it turned into a rectangle shaped bump over the course of a day. nothing seems to work. do you have any idea what it could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be a small cyst or bone spur. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. If there is diagnostic confusion, an MRI might be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
