What Causes A Painful Lump At The Base Of The Lung?
My dr says I have crystals in the base of my right lung. It was picked up by xray as a lump at the base of my right lung. A spaish dr told me that without an xray ad it affexts my breathig ad causes pain oly when I lie on my right side. What does all that mean?

It might be infective infiltrates in the lungs but further work up with CT scan chest is recommended. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be helpful for symptomatic relief and pains. Anti-histamines like cetirizine or loratidine may also be needed. Decision of antibiotics should be made after CT report.
