Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have developed a lump in an area between my eye and left top part of my nose. It s painful and it developed over a fungal infection i keep having on my skin. I apply Clop M cream to clear that skin fungal infection which keeps occuring every 2 months. Though the skin fungal infection has almost disappeared again but that lump has grown and is little painful as well.
Hello dear user! I have gone through your query and understood your concerns! Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic. Does that eye tears out? It may have started like a skin infection or local infection, an now it seems to have been complicated. The nasolacrimal duct may have been blocked due to inflammation and the lacrimal sac has got infected creating what we call "dacryocystitis". It causes pain, redness, and swelling at the region you are telling us in your query. Please kindly contact an ophtalmologist to check your nasolacrimal duct and lacrimal sac, and get the proper medication. I hope this answer was helpful to you! Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot. Thank you and best regards! DR ERIOL.
