What Causes A Painful Lump In The Armpit?

This began with a pea sized knot in my armpit that hurt. Now days later I have the armpit knot and a half dollar coin sized knot near my anus. Its not a hemrroid. It is hot and burns constantly. I noticed a new one pop up whilst in the shower tonight. It literally popped up while in the shower. It burns like hellfire. I also noticed a soft very painful mass where my pelvic lymph nodes are located. Any input would be amazing.

Hi,

Armpit or axillary areas contain a concentration of lymph nodes. A most common cause of axillary swelling is lymph node enlargement.

Please get examined buy your doctor to confirm a lymph node swelling in the area soon and get investigated in detail.

The anal area also needs to be checked for any conditions related to lymph node swelling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
