What Causes A Painful Lump In The Throat After Smoking Hookah?
Hi I only smoked hookah about 10 Times in the past 3 years recently I smoked hookah during a camping trip I did it 2 days in a row now I feel like there is a lump on the inside of my neck it hurt alittle and the pain goes up to my ear what can it be please
As per my clinical experience, the lump in the throat do indicate underlying inflammation of the adenoid gland most likely from hookah smoking. Following measures will help you: - Gargles with salted lukewarm water added peppermint oil - Prefer soft, easily palatable food stuffs - Avoid smoking, hookah or other recreational drugs which will hamper the recovery - Analgesic as acetaminophen or others after meals - Consult your doc for prescription of antibiotic if needed
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
