Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lump in the right side of my back, almost to the side. It has been there for a while, but in the past several months, it has grown and become painful. It can also be seen through my skin. It is not red - it is interior. It hurts to push on it.
Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.
This looks to me like ateroma which is subcutaneous gland that is clogged and now it grows and may become inflammed. You should see doctor and have it surgically removed under local anesthesia. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
