What Causes A Painful Lump On The Back?
I have a lump in the right side of my back, almost to the side. It has been there for a while, but in the past several months, it has grown and become painful. It can also be seen through my skin. It is not red - it is interior. It hurts to push on it.

This looks to me like ateroma which is subcutaneous gland that is clogged and now it grows and may become inflammed. You should see doctor and have it surgically removed under local anesthesia.
