Considering your description this may be benign subcutaneous lesion such as lipoma, fibroma or atheroma and if there are no skin changes such as redness, pus discharge or pain and fever then you should not be worried since it can be easily surgically removed under local anesthesia. However, you other symptoms may not be related to this lump, and this sounds to me like some other issues such as neuropathy or fibromialgia so in this direction you should see rheumatogist for further evaluation.
