What Causes A Painful Lump On The Buttock After Fistulatomy?

I had a fistulatomy in February. Other than the tract not closing completely, I have no no issues from the procedure. Without warning, I developed a red, raised spot on both side of my butt crack all the way at the top. Could this possibly be another fistula?

Fistulas usualy are infective , can be multiple. Surgeon must have sent the tissue for pathology department to find the etology of fistula.Yes fistulas can be multiple.
