thank you for your query... kindly inform me about the size of the swelling, the duration from which you are having it, whether there is any discharge from it and whether there is any change in size from the beginning.... well it seems like a benign swelling...so nothing to worry about...it might be a chronic abscess which responds well to antibiotics or some other benign swelling which can be removed easily if needed.... you can apply hot compress, take painkiller tablets if it hurts much and run a course of antibiotics like coamoxyclav for 5 days.... i would suggest that you visit a GENERAL SURGEON and he will check it thoroughly and comment on further management... hope this was useful.... you can come to me anytime for further queries... regards
