Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes A Painful Lump On The Penis Post Trimix Shots?
I starting on Tri Mix about 2 months ago. First couple of shots went great. Admittedly I mostly injected on the right side, not always at same spot but with flaccid penis it sort of felt like the same general area. Used the small 31 needles. Probably 8 injections total in 2 months. After the last one, I had extreme pain and a small lump on the injection site. Two days later there is still pain and burning. Is it possible I developed Peyronies or some permanent damage from only injecting 8 times? Could I have hit a nerve? Just trying to figure out why there is lingeri pain. Will this lump on side near base of penis go away if I stop injecting? Is it possible I am just one of those bad candidates for injection therapy? The pills worked, but after years I was taking higher dose. Thought the instant erections with Tri mix sounded like a better option. Sort of regretting it now and hope nothing permanent is wrong.
It's really hard to tell without seeing, and infection MOSTLY would show some inflammation visibly and with warmth but not always. And Peyronie's can occur with most anything. On the other hand, it has a high rate of getting better over time too. Small bruises occur and they COULD develop into Peyronie's, but they don't generally and intervention sooner rather than later will help prevent the Peyronie's a reason to get it looked at.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
