What Causes A Painful Lump On The Thighs After An Injury?
got into a car accident. was in icy water for 20 minutes from the waist down. got a briuse on the inner thigh that day. A big bump has developed has an extreme burning sensation and hurts to walk or to touch. briuse has started to fade and bump is getting bigger and the pain has worsened.

An internal injury seems to have caused an abscess... which is getting bigger & painful over the days. You need antibiotic & anti-inflammatory drugs followed possibly by incision & drainage of the pus formed. You should consult a general surgeon for specific advice.
