What Causes A Painful Lump Right Above The Meniscal Repair Site?

Hi, I am nine months post ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair and I have noticed today that I have a small lump right above the incision and the incision is very sore to the touch. I do not know if sickness correlates but as noticed the pain and tenderness I began to notice I felt very queasy and at any moment I could throw up and have had a headache all day. I called my doctor but I was wanting to find out for myself what it could possibly be. Thanks

I really appreciate your concern, such swelling could be collection of soothing from the operative wound and in my opinion this need to be clinically examined for anything wrong and may be infection, your symptoms of vomiting and headache could be due to infection, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
