What Causes A Painful Scab On Small Toe Of Right Foot?

Good evening. I have a scab on my small toe on my right foot and it has been there for months. im not sure how and where i got it from. it is swollen and tender to touch. i cant wear any narrow shoes as it hurts when pressed. btw, i am a male, 29 years of age, i dont drink or smoke and i have not taken any medication for it

It is possible that it may be a corn or callus affecting the toe. These form as a result of trauma or pressure at a site on the foot.

You may want to consider seeing either your doctor or a podiatrist to assess it.

In addition, the use of anti inflammatory pain killers along with soaks with salt or epsom salt may help.
Anti inflammatory pain killers include cataflam, ibuprofen or naproxen
