Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Small blister on the shaft of my penis, doesn t itch, doesn t hurt. There is only one small blister. I was masterbating pretty hard the other day, I m on antidepressants, so it takes a little more effort sometimes. Is masterbation the reason it is there. The last time I had sex was on August 7, 2015. So I m thinking that if it were herpes, it wouldn t be showing yet? Any help at all would be great.
As per my clinical experience, there can be various possibilities as: - Treponemal pallidum, spirochete infection after unprotected sexual intercourse, which can show up after a couple of weeks even - If it was friction related to vigorous masturbation, there should be underlying burning, pain, irritation which are absent in this case
However, if you can provide a photo pic of the lesion, further guidelines regarding need of any lab test would be easier to comment.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
