What Causes A Painless Hard Lump In The Vagina?

Hi, something has really been bothering me lately. I see it s common, but nothing has been answered for it. There seems to be a ball of flesh at the top of my vaginal entrance. It doesn t cover the hole, but it s above it. It feels a bit rigid, similar how cartilage would feel. It s not painful either, I get a slight feeling to urinate whenever I apply pressure to it. Also, I m a virgin if that s relevant at all. Can someone please explain this? If you re unsure, don t say: It s best to see a doctor .

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.

This could be a Bartholin cyst. It can occur due to fluffs collection. Nothing to worry. Get the diagnosis confirmed by a thorough examination by your Gynaecologist. It can be surgically removed.
