Hi,
Noted your history of a lump that develops only in the morning and not present throughout the day below the
glans.
Your history suggests this to be due to dilated blood vessel.
Since there is a natural phenomenon called morning erection in males there is enlargement of penis due to accumulation of blood in the sinusoids and all the blood vessels, particularly the venous part.
So the dilated part of the vein gets full and visible in the morning sustaining for about an hour and then goes away.
This is difficult to get diagnosed as by the time you reach the Doctor this may be settled.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Get photographs of the area in the morning.
If possible report to a Doctor in ER early in the morning and get color doppler of the area done and the diagnosis is confirmed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
