Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes A Painless Lump On The Right Side Of The Head?
i have a lump on my right side of the head, which is non movable and no pain. it has been there for past 12 yrs, i had consulted a doctor 12 yrs back he said it is nothing to worry and it can be dandruff or oily scalp. now it is slightly grown. i have no headaches. recently i feel off balance while walking or looking up or down. is it something to worry?
Since it has been there for 12 years and is not hurting most probably it can be a lipoma. It is an accumulation of lipids. It doesn't need treatment and is not dangerous.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
