What Causes A Patch Skin At The Bottom Of The Foot?
I have a patch of white skin on the bottom of my foot. It is very itchy. It started about 60 days ago as a red rash that was also itchy and burned. Very painful for a couple of days. The patch then became raised like a blister. Now it is just smooth and very white.
Hi. As per your case history you are having eczema. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
