What Causes A Pimple Right Between Eyebrows?

I popped a pimple right between my eyebrows (I know I m not supposed to but I just couldn t help it) and now it s bruising. It wasn t a deep cyst or even close to being one so I didn t think popping it would be so bad as it would be if I did it to cyst. Is there any way I can make the bruising go away faster. I ve tried putting an ice cube on for the last 2 nights for 20 minutes and I see no difference. Thanks!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to folliculitis which is an infection of the hair follicle. I recommend to use warm compresses for local application. I also suggest to use an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin cream to apply at the area of the pimple.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
