What Causes A Pinched Nerve In Buttocks?

I continue to have what feels like a pinched nerve in my buttocks, however usually I also get what feels like a rash with it. It is difficult to sit for a long period of time. I had an MRI and it came back normal. What could it be? I am 33 and I weigh 137.

Psychologist 's  Response
Hello,

As the MRI came clear, the feeling should be just your over-focus and related anxiety. When you have anxiety and too-much-focus, it is common to have the pinched nerve feeling. Manage your anxiety and do not focus. Therefore, I suggest consulting psychologist for counseling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand, Psychologist
