Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a random pinching feeling in my chest. I think it’s the top of my heart area. It pinches for a second then stops. I feel great otherwise with no other pains. I took a Zegerid about 3 hours ago and still have the pinching. Is this something I should ignore? Or rush to the er? Or make appointment with a doctor?
This is it pinching feeling or flickering sensation? Muscle twitching or muscle tics may present like this seen in Hypokalemia or hypocalcemia or anxiety et cetera.
Nothing to worry about it, take rest drink plenty of liquid diet and fruits may helpful. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
