Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
For how long u are suffering from it?
It is most probably a soft tissue injury. There is need to get the X RAY of the affected ankle so that it can be better correlated. There is need to use the painkillers. Do proper rest and regular icing along with the ankle brace.
meet orthopedic surgeon for proper assessment.
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
