I was stood stationary at work last wed and I felt something pop in my left ankle, I fell to the ground and I have no idea what it was but I was left with instant swelling and significant bruising to the ankle, nearly a week on I am doing OK but experiencing coldness and tingling to the foot ? Any ideas ?
Welcome at HCM I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns. For how long u are suffering from it? It is most probably a soft tissue injury. There is need to get the X RAY of the affected ankle so that it can be better correlated. There is need to use the painkillers. Do proper rest and regular icing along with the ankle brace. meet orthopedic surgeon for proper assessment. Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain Get well soon Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask Regards Dr Saad Sultan
